History
Diamonds in the Rough started July 14, 2018. Our first event was a Vision board party. We gathered to teach girls how to start goal planning. We have also had paint parties, a brunch, career day, and so many more events. We look forward to creating more opportunities for our girls to learn and grow into the young ladies they were created to be.
We have a FREE community on FB for inspiration, encouragement, and social engagement. We also have paid programs for those seeking additional mentoring.

Hello! My name is Adrienne Figures and I’m the founder of Diamonds in the Rough. God gave me this vision in 2008, during a rough period when my mother was going through treatment for esophageal cancer, and I was having to make decisions for her care over the phone. My mother and I didn't have the best relationship because I was raised by my father, and felt like my mother did not want me. God gave me this vision to mentor girls. It wasn't until years later I discovered the purpose behind the vision. Not only has God used me to be a vessel to other young ladies, he’s also used this ministry to heal some areas in my own past!
